“Veter U Suhova Iztochnika” was the first of two albums recorded by an enigmatic mid-80s Soviet Latvian ambient music formation Lucerna. To this day very little is known about them, and these home recordings have only had a couple of copies made. Never the less, the atmosphere of their works holds close resemblance to dark ambient and ritual/ post-industrial music of the time, making it a seminal, yet largely unknown act for this kind of music in the Baltic region
