The 5th album of T.U.M.S.A. “Nepabeigtais Skaņdarbs” was released at the very end of 1988. It was the epitome of their new wave era, also finishing the 80s period for the band. It was also when most of their concerts took place and songs were written with the idea of later being performed live.
To achieve the desired quality of production, the band had to set up a studio for each of the recording sessions, collecting and installing Roland D & S series synths along with an electronic drum kit, mixing and recording equipment. “Nepabeigtais Skaņdarbs” was created in 2 such sessions in June and October of 1988.
Originally released as a small edition of Reel to Reel and cassette tapes, the original masters are now digitalised and made available again.
Music by: Lauris Vorslavs (vocals, synths), Raimonds Bērziņš (vocals, synths), Guntars Andersons (electronic drums). Recorded and engineered by Gints Sola (Jauns Mēness, K.Remonts).
